Newman Consulting focuses upon providing financial public relations and corporate communications services to companies in the oil and gas exploration and production, petrochemical and mining sectors. The company advises both London-listed and dual-listed clients as well as privately-owned and pre-IPO companies within this sector. The Company does occasionally take on clients outside this sector upon request.
Current Clients
Midmar Energy is an entrepreneurial oil and gas exploration and production company, focused upon maximising existing reserves and developing new reserves through the application of its outstanding technical skills and experience. The Company currently has four UK onshore licences, two of which were awarded in the 13th UK Onshore Licencing Round. The Company founded the Mesopotamia Petroleum Company in 2005 which is in the advanced stages of discussion regarding the establishment of a joint venture with the Iraq Government owned Iraq Drilling Company, and copntinues to pursue other international opportunities.
Firstdrill Ltd is a truly independent global drilling project management company with proven international expertise. Founded in 1996 by Peter Redman, an experienced drilling engineer who started his career at BP in 1956, and based in the United Kingdom, the Company has provided international and domestic project management, well engineering and operational logistics to some of the World’s leading oil and gas exploration companies.
Previous Clients
Island is an AIM-listed independent oil and gas exploration and production company active offshore Ireland in the Celtic Sea and on the Atlantic Margin, as well as internationally in the Netherlands and Morocco. Newman Consulting undertook the Company’s AIM listiong and all corporate and financial public relations activities.
Delta International and Delta Oil
Delta Oil forms an important part of the Delta group, a financially strong, well-capitalised business development group headquartered in Saudi Arabia. Delta Oil is well-known for its ability to play a lead role in the structuring of major international consortia, as demonstrated by its involvement in a number of key Central Asian oil and gas exploration and production and infrastructure projects.
Newman Consulting undertook domestic and international corporate and business-to-business public relations.
Nelson Resources
Nelson Resources was a Toronto and London-listed independent exploration and production company operating in Kazakhstan. Newman Consulting undertook its AIM listing (the largest company on AIM at that time) and all corporate and financial public relations up until the Company’s acquisition by Lukoil for $2bn in 2005.
